Invasion Playmat
Just for fun

This project was truly a labor of love. My own original soft playmat for my baby. It took almost a week to complete, but the work was total fun and the final product was worth it.
I started brainstorming about the theme and begin to create some unconventional characters, inspired by Monsters & Co. Since I love New York, I decided to recreate the City with its famous buildings and put on stage a little alien invasion.
The playmat is a feltro patchwork. It measures about 80x80 cm, and is entirely hand made. I designed, cut and sewed each piece by myself.
